New PhD Interns at UNU-INTECH

Three new interns joined UNU-INTECH in April 2004 for the three month internship programme. Jummai Umar-Ajijola (Nigeria), Xinxin Kong (China) and Jun Tu (China) are continuing with work on their PhD dissertation and expect to complete one chapter of their thesis before returning to their home universities. The UNU-INTECH internship programme provides an opportunity for students, particularly from developing countries to benefit from the latest resources and interact with the research community at the Institute. A new group of interns will join the institute in the second half of this year.
